WWE legend Edge says he doesn't want to see his career dwindle, and claims he'll hang up the boots before he's unable to compete "at an elite level".

The Hall Of Famer told Logan Paul's 'ImPAULsive' show that retirement is on his mind these days. Then, Edge said he'd probably give himself "another year" of top work before he starts to reel it in and realise that he can't physically hang with younger stars anymore.

Wow.

Basically, fans should enjoy the 'Rated-R Superstar' whilst they can, because he won't be around forever. In fact, that well-received Hell In A Cell scrap vs. Finn Bálor at WrestleMania 39 could very well be his last hurrah on WWE's biggest stage.

Edge dismissed the thought of turning into Mickey Rourke's character from 2008 flick The Wrestler - he doesn't want to become Randy 'The Ram' Robinson, or play before diminishing returns. Overstaying his welcome is a waking nightmare to the icon, so he won't let things reach that point.

Later in the interview, Edge also revealed that his personal career wishlist "isn't long" these days. His sensational career renaissance has been fun, but it's nearly over.
