Edge will wrestle his first one-on-one match on SmackDown in 11 years on next week's episode of the FOX show.

This week's edition of the blue show saw Edge and Daniel Bryan engage in a war of words just a week or so out from 'The Leader of the YES Movement's Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Fastlane.

This all led to the show-closing contract signing between Bryan and 'The Tribal Chief', a segment which saw an irate Jey Uso declare himself as the special guest enforcer for the pair's upcoming title match. However, 'The Rated R Superstar' had other ideas, stating that he would face Uso next week for the right to be the enforcer at Fastlane.

Edge's last singles match on the blue brand was against none other than current Raw megastar Drew McIntyre, with the 2021 Royal Rumble winner coming out on top back then.

Will Edge be able to put away (always loses in the) 'Main Event' Jey Uso next week and earn himself a front row seat for the Fastlane main event? We'll just have to wait and see...
