According to PWInsider, Emma - who suffered a back injury that required surgery in May - is scheduled to be on the road with WWE this week, suggesting that she will be making her return to the ring shortly.

There's no word regarding which brand she will join, though she was backstage at Monday's Raw in Baltimore.

Emma signed with WWE in 2011 and after three years in development, debuted on the main roster with a dancing gimmick. She was quickly paired up with Santino Marella and the pair feuded with Fandango and Summer Rae. Once Marella retired, though, Emma lacked direction. She soon ended up back in NXT.

In the developmental brand, Emma continued to improve. She turned heel and formed an alliance with Dana Brooke, and thought she came up short in feuds with Bayley and Asuka, she showed a talent that got her called back up to the main roster in time for a pre-show match at WrestleMania 32.

After WrestleMania, Emma began a feud with Becky Lynch. Brooke soon came up from NXT to join to her partner, but Emma's injury killed the storyline. Brooke was then moved into a partnership with WWE Women's Champion Charlotte.
