Emma's WWE Return Is "Coming Soon"... Again
No more Emmalina, she's bringing her "evil" gimmick with her.
WWE spent an exhausting 17 weeks teasing Emma's return to the main roster with a "makeover" and the debut of her new character, "Emmalina". However, it began to feel like a massive troll job when she walked out in her "Emmalina" attire on the Feb 13 edition of Raw, cut a brief promo and basically said she would be leaving again and returning as Emma.
No one is exactly sure what the point of any of this was, with reports alleging that WWE was unhappy with Emma's inability to adapt to the new gimmick in rehearsals, which seemed to be nothing more than a return to the shallow sex symbols of old that today's female wrestlers have worked so hard to get away from.
Now after several weeks of speculation with Emma once again MIA, the star promoted her impending return via Twitter, with a picture that seems to indicate she'll be coming back under the guise of her successful "Evil Emma" role that she'd cultivated during his most recent stint in NXT.
She tweeted the following photo with the words "That's more like it". Hopefully it won't be another 17 weeks until we see Emma make her latest return to the WWE roster.
