In a match which saw Young battle against former Champion Eddie Edwards in the main event, the former WWE star was able to submit his challenger with an ankle lock for the victory. Afterwards, Rich Swann made his way to the ring and scared off the defending title holder before taking hold of his belt as the show went off the air.

Elsewhere, Deonna Purrazzo was also able to successfully defend her Knockouts Championship against Susie and Rohit Raju managed to keep hold of his X Division title due to Willie Mack picking up the victory in their match via count-out.

With Bound for Glory now on the horizon, last night's show seems to have set various storylines in motion coming into the promotion's biggest event of the year. So, if you enjoyed the highs and lows of Victory Road, you won't want to miss the next few weeks of IMPACT Wrestling.
