Every AEW Stable Ranked From Worst To Best
10. The Factory
Based on potential - this is a new concern - the Factory is abundant in it, particularly since the real purpose has already quietly revealed itself.
Cries of nepotism met the formation of the stable, but this isn't a vehicle with which to get QT Marshall over. In an unfortunate use of exposition, he isn't Tony Soprano. Tony Schiavone outright said that QT is buying knockoff shirts because he's under the illusion that he is cool and powerful.
The real cool and powerful part of the group is Anthony Ogogo, who carries himself like an aloof, dangerous star of a legit combat athlete. QT is the Bill DeMott-adjacent !*$% - a bitter could-have-been-a-player player-coach, as was conveyed on this week's Dynamite. He needed Ogogo's help to defeat the ageing part-timer Billy Gunn because - to reiterate - Ogogo is the star of the group.
The premise is unique and convincing. The Factory were patronised as rookies wearing a uniform on national television. They grew sick of waiting for the shot. They took it themselves.
Yet another winning, layered storyline development that yields countless matches and elevates several talents.
