Who Should Beat Her: Blake Monroe

Sol Ruca has come a long, long way since playing a Cinnamon Toast Crunch mascot at WrestleMania 39. Heading into the annual supershow weekender in 2026, NXT's Sol can perhaps count herself unlucky if she's not part of the main Raw or SmackDown rosters by then. She's shown real promise, as evidenced by her reign as NXT Women's North American Champion.

Ruca won the belt in a multi-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver in April after previous champ Stephanie Vaquer vacated the the thing due to also holding the main NXT Women's Title. Since winning it, Sol has defended against the likes of Kelani Jordan, Nikkita Lyons and Izzi Dame, but it's another head-turning star who gets the nod to supplant her here.

Ex-AEW star Mariah May has definitely been carving out some attention for herself since debuting on NXT as Blake Monroe in June. It really didn't take long for Shawn Michaels and his writers to understand that Blake is best when she's playing an elitist (ahem) heel who looks down on everyone else around her. It's standard pro wrestling villain 101 stuff, but Monroe is really good at it.

Putting some gold around her waist and building up towards the top NXT Women's Title eventually would be the way to go. Ideally, this title switch would coincide with Ruca heading up to the main roster, and that won't be the last time you read something like that in this article. After all, that's precisely what NXT is for.

From cereal mascot to eventual Women's Champ or Women's World Champ? Don't rule it out for Sol.
