I want it officially logged in the record that I had this movie considerably higher on the list until my colleagues from both the Film and Gaming sections of this website had me pelted with cabbages. Apparently the fact I don't feel remotely guilty about it still somehow doesn't elevate this from "guilty pleasure" territory.

Anyway, despite Doom being perfect for a cinematic adaptation the movie managed to capture none of the horror of the original. Merely being a by-the-numbers sci-fi-shooter with a name it could never live up to. *I* like it though, fight me.
