17. Adam Cole Vs. Kyle O'Reilly – Takeover: Stand And Deliver Night 2

Unsanctioned matches have become much more frequent in wrestling these days thanks to AEW popularising the format in their early days. However, this one was never going to be a bloodbath similar to the ones being produced by the competition. Yet it was unique in its own way with an interesting way of pacing the match.

The blood feud rivals revolved their war around two separate weapons. First came the chairs with Cole slamming O'Reilly down on the cold steel. Next came the chain, with O'Reilly attempting to choke Cole out. Finally, both weapons combined into a symphony of violence with Cole’s chain wrapped knee sent through yet another steel chair, claiming victory for O'Reilly.

While the match was as entertaining as it was violent, it went on far too long. The match clocked in at a whopping forty minutes and nineteen seconds! Not only did this result in the match feeling tedious at times, but the kick-outs just got obscene, killing all suspense as you began to feel as though nothing would keep them down. A fight forever situation this was not, and hence a match that could have and should have made the top ten of this list easily, fell short.
