30. Nick Rogers

What was he doing at the time?

In 2012, Nick Rogers was saying he could do things "WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT" and that was both his blessing and curse.  Used an example of how promo class could be gimmicked if certain coaches weren't paying attention, Rogers was infamous for using the line regardless of the character he was playing. "Infamous" might be a stretch considering the relatively small size of the circle, but he gained it latterly thanks to a short profiling on an Florida Championship Wrestling documentary that aired on the much-missed WWE Network in 2020. He worked just six matches when FCW became NXT (including this early episode loss alongside CJ Parker against Corey Graves and Jake Carter), and four of those were on the house show "Largo Loop". To be absolutely fair to Rogers, wrestling's often as much about talking yourself into a spot as working your way there, and he clearly had more than his fair share of bluster even if the company deemed him not good enough at the rest.

What is he doing now?

Not wrestling, sadly. A gift to the aforementioned documentary (and hopefully an inspiration for contemporary blowhards in an industry that often rewards such silliness), he last wrestled a match of note in 2017. Even then, it clearly wasn't where he found his calling. The All-Star Wrestling clash against Attitude Era cult favourite Gangrel was one of just six matches he worked following his WWE departure.
