6. Randy Orton - Assisted By Alexa Bliss (Raw - 01/02/2021)

When Edge was unable to finish his feud with Randy Orton due to a poorly timed triceps injury, it caused audiences to deflate like a burst balloon. The career of the Rated R Superstar was once again on hold, and therefore, his eventual return and culmination of this rivalry had to be big, yet this is what fans got.

Rather than placing this final match on a pay-per-view, it was put on TV, and while it was exciting to see Adam Copeland back in the ring on Raw, it made this match feel far less important than it should have been. This was only made worse when it came to the ending.

The bout itself did have the feeling of a small-time TV match, but it was still full of character thanks to some brutal selling from Edge and the malice permeating from Orton. But, the climax ruined all the potential, as Alexa Bliss appeared suddenly, causing a distraction and allowing Edge to take the victory.

While it was important to keep the momentum of the Orton/Fiend feud going, it was unfortunate that it had to lay this huge rivalry by the wayside to do so.
