Every Time Jushin Liger Unmasked Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Vs Minoru Suzuki - 2019

With his devilish and delicious evil smirk, Minoru Suzuki's been unfazed by the legend of Jushin Liger of late. There'd been more than an element of disrespectful glee to the Suzuki-Gun leader's approach ahead of a scrap at NJPW's Destruction In Kobe event, but 'The King' should have remembered what his sidekicks suffered several years earlier.

Selling actual fear (or whatever Minoru Suzuki has instead of fear), even he had to bail from the scene when Kishin made his return following his attempt to steal and/or desecrate his iconic mask.

Unmasking himself as usual, Liger's latest transformation into Kishin was foreshadowed before the hood came loose. A low blow was un-Liger like, until the terrifying beast came at 'The King'.

The bell rang for a disqualification following a mist assault on both Suzuki and the referee, signifying Kishi's second loss in the persona, but he was far more into impaling his opponent's head with his trusty spike by then.

The two will surely go to battle at Wrestle Kingdom in January, though it's now unclear which version of the Japanese wrestling icon will appear at the Tokyo Dome for his final bow.
