3. Jerry Lawler, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Isaac Yankem, DDS & King Mabel - 1995

If you thought 1994 was bad roster-wise for the WWF, I wouldn't suggest checking out the following year's event. 1995 saw such legends as Rad Radford, Skip and Barry Horowitz featured (in the same match nonetheless), and the whole thing was a fairly sorry affair. Still, history would suggest that there was one pretty special team put together, although at this point they weren't much to write home about. Hunter Heart Helmsely was still finding his feet, Isaac Yankem DDS was going from gimmick to aimless gimmick, Jerry Lawler was in the twilight of his career and Mabel was rapidly gaining weight and losing relevance. Their squashing at the hands of Undertaker, Savio Vega, Fatu and Henry Godwinn wasn't so surprising. But history is a glorious thing, and look who this team comprised of! Mabel would become Viscera, the big man of Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness (no mean feat when looking at the rest of the group). Jerry Lawler's in-ring career wound down but his voice took over, and along with Jim Ross he was one of the voices of wrestling's most successful period. Isaac Yankem DDS would finally get a break as Kane, the brother of the Undertaker, and we all know how that ended up. Helmsley? He's the next in-line to run the whole company. Not bad.
