While Mustafa Ali and Emma headed to X to announce their WWE exits, the release of Rick Boogs was one first picked up on by the reliable Sean Ross Sapp over at Fightful.

The 35-year-old powerhouse picked up quite the online buzz in his early days, with his hair-metal screeching and guitar playing marking Boogs out as something unique under the WWE banner. A move to the main roster and to SmackDown happened in May 2021, where he'd soon been paired with Shinsuke Nakamura.
Boogs was last seen as a participant in the LA Knight-won Battle Royal which took place at this year's SummerSlam.
