5. Elias
The release of Elias was another one first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, with this bringing an end to a nine-year run with WWE for the Drifter.
Initially under the Elias Samson name, the grappling guitarist would make his NXT bow in 2014, and his Walk With Elias schtick was extremely over once Elias landed on Raw in April 2017.
The Pittsburgh native would appear as Elias' clean-shaven brother Ezekiel immediately after WrestleMania 38, but that run only lasted a couple of months before Ezekiel was written off through injury and Elias would fully return to the fore.
