2. Shelton Benjamin

Like certain others on this list, today's news sees the end of a second WWE run for Shelton Benjamin.

The 48-year-old Benjamin is one of the most gifted athletes to ever grace a wrestling ring, with few in the modern era as smooth as the University of Minnesota grappler when it comes to his work between the ropes.

This most recent run with WWE saw Benjamin win the Raw Tag Team Titles with Cedric Alexander and have three brief reigns as WWE 24/7 Champion - to go along with the three Intercontinental Title reigns, one United States Title reign, and two-time Tag Team Champion run (with Charlie Haas) of the veteran's initial stint with WWE.
