1993 to 1996 were some majorly transitional years for the then-WWF, and it certainly shows in the line-ups assembled for some of the Royal Rumble matches during this time.

Bret Hart may have only been in the '93 Rumble match for 15 minutes, but his performance here was legendary. When it comes to selling a beating, there's nobody in the history of the wrestling business more believable than the Hitman, and his Rumble showing here was the perfect example of him selling the injuries he'd incurred earlier in the night thanks to The Quebecers and his brother Owen.

It was up in the air whether Bret would even be able to compete in the Rumble match, but compete he did, going on to co-win the bout with Lex Luger.

Now, go back and watch the last 15 minutes of the contest and you won't see Bret ever forgetting about his apparent injuries, with The Hitman having fans genuinely concerned for his welfare.
