Tonight marks the start of something new for NXT, as WWE reconfigures its developmental brand's aesthetics for the show's first live episode in three weeks.

It's hard to know what to expect here. WWE has kept most details close to the vest, going as far as keeping talent in the dark as to what the changes will entail, though a fresh coat of paint was overdue. The Capitol Wrestling Center's dark, dingy vibes and constant loudness war were a weekly chore. The new logo and Wale-penned theme song suggest brighter times are ahead, at least.

Match-wise, a new NXT Champion will be crowned after Samoa Joe's decision to vacate the belt over the weekend. Former champion Tommaso Ciampa meets Kyle O'Reilly, LA Knight, and Pete Dunne in a Fatal 4-Way originally pegged for contendership before Joe let go of the belt.

Elsewhere, Raquel Gonzalez defends her NXT Women's Title against Franky Monet and InDex tie the knot. Wrestling weddings usually do well in the ratings. This, coupled with the title fights and intrigue surrounding the reboot, should help NXT to a nice number this week.
