With his impending IMPACT arrival having been teased for the past couple of weeks, 'Drama King' Matthew Rehwoldt - formerly known as WWE star Aiden English - made his IMPACT bow at last night's Homecoming special.

Rehwoldt was revealed as the mystery partner of Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo in the Homecoming King and Queen tournament - and the pair would go onto win the entire tourney.

The duo of Rehwoldt and Purrazzo toppled the pairings of Hernandez and Alisha Edwards, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, and then best the Decay's Crazzy Steve and Rosemary in the finals to be crowned Homecoming King and Queen.

It's been over a year since WWE released the then-Aiden English as part of the company's post-WrestleMania 36 round of cuts. Since then, the one-time NXT Tag Team Champion has competed under his real name of Matt Rehwoldt and also as 'Drama King' Matt Morris on the independent scene.

A vignette teasing Rehwoldt's IMPACT bow aired at Slammiversary last month, with it only a matter of time before the highly talented performer turned up on our screens.
