The man formerly known as Rusev has launched an expletive-filled volley at the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, responding to the reporter's claims that Miro's wife, Lana, was behind WWE's decision to ban talent from earning money on third-party platforms.

Meltzer had stated on his message board that Lana filming Bang Energy drinks commercials was "the straw that broke the camel's back" on this matter. Miro responded with fire when asked about it during a recent Twitch stream:-

"Oh! The f*cker! The motherf*cker. What's his freaking face, Meltzer. Once again putting bullsh*t out there, I'm f*cking tired of this f*cking guy. Like honestly man, get the eff out of here. Who the eff are you to speak things like? First of all, those are not true, those are all bullsh*t lies. This man... one day he's gonna burn in hell, like it's 100%. And it's okay, like, hey, go ahead, collect everybody's money... but let me tell you, once you die, most likely you are gonna go to hell because of all your lies you say every day about pretty much everybody."

Miro has taken to Twitch and YouTube streaming since leaving WWE as part of the promotion's mass cuts on 15 April. He has already used these platforms to confirm that he no longer considers him a wrestler anymore, with his future in the sport still in the balance at a time when many of his fellow releasees have already shown up elsewhere.

His comments on Meltzer are uncharacteristic of a channel that largely takes a laid-back tone, though it's understandable that he'd speak up for his wife. The Observer man is yet to comment on the situation - perhaps he will on tonight's episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
