Former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr has been acquitted on all 13 charges levied against him during a fraud trial. The ex-Legacy member (alongside WrestleMania 42 rivals Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes) was found not guilty on charges of misappropriation of Mississippi state welfare funds.

News reporters from WAPT spoke with DiBiase Jr after the verdict was passed, and he was visibly emotional about the whole thing. During the chat, Ted said: "They got it right". Elaborating, he also added: "I left it in God’s hands...and whatever the verdict was today, I was okay with it. Man makes his plans, God directs his steps".

He said "this cloud has lived over [him]" and his family for so long that it feels good to finally watch it lift. There had been genuine fears that DiBiase Jr could go to prison for a long, long time if he was found guilty on all of the 13 charges against his name.

When asked what he might do once he arrived back home post-trial, Ted offered: "I don’t know. I might go cut my grass today. I’m gonna live again, and I’m gonna continue to serve people because that really is who I am and I do care about every Mississippian; to all the doubters or haters or people that have maybe...have false information and not all the information. I forgive you and I love you too".

Of course, DiBiase Jr is the son of WWE Hall Of Famer 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase. He worked for WWE between 2007-2013, but hasn't wrestled a match since June 2017. DiBiase Jr is a former 2-time tag champion with Cody Rhodes, and he also held his father's old Million Dollar Championship.
