Ex-WWE Star Tyler Reks Announces Gender Transition
Ex-WWE star Tyler Reks transitions from Gabe Tuft to Gabbi Tuft.
As announced by Extra TV, former WWE superstar Gabe Tuft, aka Tyler Reks, has transitioned to a woman named Gabbi Tuft.
Tuft started to build to this news several weeks ago on her Instagram, first cutting off the patented dreadlocks before making numerous other posts showcasing the journey of this process. This Friday’s episode of Extra TV will see Gabbi detail her transgender story, with full support coming from Gabbi’s wife and business partner Priscilla Tuft.
After making an in-ring debut back in 2007, Tuft was soon signed by WWE less than a year later.
That developmental deal saw Tuft handed the Tyler Reks moniker in Florida Championship Wrestling, before a move to ECW came a-calling in 2009, ahead of a move to SmackDown in 2011. Released by WWE in 2012, Reks made sporadic appearances on the independent scene before formally retiring from in-ring action in 2014.
The press release for this Friday’s Extra TV offering details:
“Gabbi is about to share her thrilling story of gender transitioning from a former WWE Superstar, Body Builder, Fitness Guru, Motivational Speaker and Motorcycle Racer to a fun-loving and fabulous female She has been finally set free and ready to rule her world.”
