Could this Japanese wrestling legend and former WWE man be coming to AEW?

Japanese wrestling great Ultimo Dragon wants to "end" his longstanding in-ring rivalry with old WCW and WWE peer Chris Jericho in AEW.

Dragon told Sports Illustrated that he's enjoying the chance to keep wrestling aged 55 - the high-flying legend made his debut way, way, way back in 1987, but he's still going strong today. Now, he'd love to work for Tony Khan and wrestle one more match against his old WCW Cruiserweight division foe Jericho.

If that happens, it'd be the first time Dragon and Jericho had locked horns mid-ring since colliding for the Cruiser strap on the 8 July 1998 edition of WCW Thunder. There, current ROH World Champ Jericho beat his masked rival in a typically-frantic (but rather short) six-minute bout.

That's available on WWE Network/Peacock if anyone's interested in seeing it.

Dragon admitted to SI that he's "honestly not very familiar with AEW". The one-time belt collector doesn't tune into Dynamite and/or Rampage weekly then. That likely wouldn't be a problem if Jericho went to bat for him and requested that Ultimo come in for a date or two.

It's hardly impossible.
