On when she decided that wrestling was going to be a career and not just a series of one-offs:

Salina De La Renta: "Well, I decided it was going to be a career pretty much when I started. I was determined to make it but I didn't know if it was going to work. But when I started I was a manager at McDonald's and I was making maybe 300 bucks a week, maybe $400, a manager makes a little bit more. But I was using that money to try and invest in wrestling. All the money I had was for wrestling, for my clothes and I would sometimes starve... I would say a year and a half in the business I was able to quit my job and just do it as a permanent thing. I was a wrestler at the time."

On when she learned healthy eating habits despite managing a McDonald's:

Salina De La Renta: "This year I did it... This past year I got a coach and she's helped me a lot with my eating habits... This past year I've been trying to take more care of myself and I started losing weight but it was because I was eating very little amounts of food and my coach was like, "No no no, you're doing it all wrong. You have to cook, you have to make your food.'"
