WWE personnel had referred to this week's loaded episode of NXT as 'NXTMania', reports Bodyslam.net.

The show featured such huge main roster names as The Undertaker, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman, and Asuka, helping it successfully outdraw AEW Dynamite in a rare head-to-head ratings battle. Now, Bodyslam has reported the internal 'NXTMania' tagline was even listed on rundowns.

It's a fitting tag for what will likely go down as the most star-studded NXT show in WWE history.

In a separate report, Bodyslam states that things were chaotic backstage. "Hectic" scenes played out behind the curtain as segments were rearranged and moved around. NXT sources believe they ended up pulling the myriad surprises and big-name guest appearances "amazingly", using the hot crown in the Performance Center to evidence the night's success.

Main roster stars dominated the broadcast. Particularly Cody Rhodes, who appeared in multiple segments, including his own in-ring promo (a luxury also afforded to John Cena). Though unannounced, Undertaker showing up was all but guaranteed when WWE sounded his gong in a promotional video, with 'The Deadman' Chokeslamming Bron Breakker to close the broadcast.

Asuka was the only guest star to wrestle on NXT, besting Roxanne Perez.
