Fears For Wrestler Safety After WWE NXT Production Gaffe

NXT wrestlers were reportedly left a "little banged up" following a production issue during the Vengeance Day Premium Live Event. And some of it was even clear on camera.

It was during the Dusty Rhodes Classic tournament final when Bron Breakker snapped his neck on the top rope as he gathered pace. He appeared to recover quickly in the moment, but he wasn't the only one who appeared to suffer during the contest. Carmelo Hayes visibly appeared rattled by a couple of spots, and Fightful Select reported;

During the Dusty Rhodes Classic final, rope tightness was questioned after two scary spots involving Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes. It was said all involved in the match came out if it a "little banged up."

There's no word yet on if this extends beyond "banged up", though updates will likely be provided on this Tuesday's episode of NXT. Breakker and Baron Corbin were successful in the match, ahead of Hayes turning on partner Trick Williams following his loss to Ilja Dragunov in the evening's main event. Hayes had absorbed a Breakker spear ostensibly for Williams en route to the betrayal.
