6. The Rock's Cameo Is HILARIOUS

Aside from that cringe-worthy sex tape gaffe, The Rock's presence in this movie is a whole lotta fun.

He only appears in three small scenes for barely five minutes in total, but he brings his usual high-energy and boundless charisma to the screen for all of those minutes, absolutely making the most of them.

Now, some might argue that Dwayne Johnson is interjecting himself into a story that isn't at all about him, but his fateful WrestleMania meeting with Paige is at least rooted somewhat in truth, and more to the point, his involvement helps broaden the story to a much wider audience.

The trailers absolutely over-emphasise how large his role in the film is, but anything more than a quick cameo would've risked stealing the thunder away from the real star of the show.

Miraculously it doesn't feel like a vanity role for Johnson, but a performance coming from a deep place of respect and admiration for Paige.

And without spoiling it, there are also cameos from a few current WWE superstars in the bargain, but to ruin them would be nothing short of criminal.
