Survivor Series Qualifying Fatal Four Way: Liv Morgan Vs. Chelsea Green Vs. Natalya Vs. Tamina
Chelsea Green, the most devastating release, was a clear star who never got her chance to shine on the main roster. This SmackDown four-way match was her debut on the blue brand. Initially, a three-way encounter, with Adam Pearce adding Chelsea last minute. As she entered, commentary hyped up Green’s achievements, with Corey Graves adding talk about women in the locker room having little nice to say about her. After this build-up, fans were shocked, when (early in the match) Green took a dropkick to the outside, and never re-emerged.
It was soon reported that Green had broken her wrist during the match. Even more heart-breaking, Green, not Liv Morgan, was scheduled to win the match. In victory, she would have secured a place as a member of the SmackDown women’s Survivor Series team.
Chelsea teased a comeback in early 2021. The greatest fear attached to Green’s future was the concern she would have accumulated ring rust. Though, before she could prove herself, she was released. It is unfortunate that bad luck reduced Green’s main roster career to an impressive entrance and dropkick from the apron.
