All Elite Wrestling's TNT Championship will be unveiled in its final form on tonight's episode of Dynamite.

Champion Cody broke the news while speaking to Tony Schiavone on AEW's YouTube channel on Tuesday, stating that the old silver-and-red strap (which Cody nicknames "Little Ruth") shall be replaced rather than upgraded.

The TNT Championship was introduced via an eight-man tournament leading up to Double Or Nothing 2020. Cody defeated Lance Archer in the finals on 23 May, with 'Iron' Mike Tyson presenting him with the strap afterwards, though the previously unseen design was met with a largely negative response online.

AEW's announce team explained that the belt was unfinished as a result of the global health crisis, adding that gold plating was to be added at a later date. Now, we're finally going to see the finished version.

Cody will defend his new strap against a resurgent Scorpio Sky on tonight's episode of Dynamite. His TNT Championship reign has been a critical success so far, with full-timers like Jungle Boy, Marq Quen, and Sonny Kiss all elevated in defeat, Eddie Kingston earning an AEW contract on the back of his showing, and IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion Warhorse showing up in Cody's latest defence.
