Following Finn Balor losing the NXT Championship to Samoa Joe at a house show on Friday evening, many logically expected this was a sign that the Demon is headed to WWE's main roster.

Further, the fact that his former New Japan Bullet Club partners Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are set to make their in-ring debut Monday night during RAW added more fuel to the fire.

However, Balor himself is now denying that he is headed to the WWE main roster. Following the house show in Lowell, Massachusetts on Friday evening where he dropped the NXT Championship, Balor told a group of fans outside of the venue "See you all on Monday." Shortly thereafter, Kevin Owens tweeted to Balor "See you soon, buddy."

Balor's attitude on the matter changed just 24 hours later. Finn got on the microphone at the NXT house show Saturday evening in Poughkeepsie, New York and told fans he is staying in NXT.

Prior to his in-ring promo, the fans were chanting "See you Monday!" You can see the full segment below.

Now the question is was Balor telling the truth, or did he cut the segment on Saturday night in order to save-face after giving away Monday's plan to a bunch of fans who were (unknowingly) filming him? We'll know soon enough as RAW airs this evening from Hartford, CT.
