First-Time 24/7 Champion Crowned On WWE Main Event (Spoilers)
Superstar to win their first piece of WWE gold this Thursday.
Taped in Lincoln, Nebraska's Pinnacle Bank Arena prior to last night's Raw, this week's WWE Main Event will see Doudrop become the new 24/7 Champion.
To air on Thursday, as per WrestlingHeadlines, the former Piper Niven picked up the win over Dana Brooke, bringing an end to Brooke's fifth reign with that title. This marks the Scot's first piece of championship gold in WWE, with her having been with the company - initially in NXT UK - since March 2019.
Doudrop becomes the 51st person to win the 24/7 Championship, and this is the 156th reign for a prize that was introduced by Mick Foley on the 20 May 2019 episode of Raw. Of course, it was Titus O'Neil who became the inaugural 24/7 Champ on that night.
Elsewhere on Main Event, Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest bested Rey and Dominik Mysterio. While Balor and Priest have previously teamed together in both NXT and on Raw, this marks the first time that the two have paired up as part of Judgment Day.
WWE Main Event airs on Hulu on Thursday, then will appear on the WWE Network in two weeks' time.
