Recent rumours of All Elite Wrestling bringing another pay-per-view to the stadium setting in 2024 appear to have been substantiated with the news that the company's Forbidden Door event will take place from Arthur Ashe Stadium in June.

This is according to Wrestling Observer and Mat Men's Andrew Zarian, who reported that;

All Elite Wrestling haven't confirmed the news yet, but the company have established a rich history with the venue dating back several years. Though New Japan Pro-Wrestling have never ran the venue, AEW is no stranger Arthur Ashe setting, having hosted "Grand Slam" special editions of Dynamite and Rampage at the historic tennis destination in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The report doesn't confirm if Arthur Ashe will still host Grand Slam shows later in the year, or if the June supershow will be a one-and-done for the year. Should the event go ahead in the Queens, New York location, it'll be the third new area for the event in three years. The inaugural Forbidden Door pay-per-view in 2022 took place in Chicago, whilst 2023's Toronto edition kicked off a summer of shows in Canada.
