After leaving AEW recently in the wake of his contract with the promotion expiring, with the second-generation wrestler also being taken off the company's roster page earlier this week, Dave Meltzer has confirmed in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via F4WOnline) that Pillman Jr. stopped by the PC to train on July 13.

Though it was later confirmed by Fightful Select that Pillman Jr. is still currently a free agent.

Pillman Jr.'s last televised appearance for AEW came back in February, with the son of Brian Pillman losing to Swerve Strickland on Rampage. The star would then go on to appear on a few editions of Dark and wrestle on AEW's House Rules shows against the likes of Claudio Castagnoli and The Gunns in the time before leaving the promotion.

After first appearing at the inaugural AEW event known as Double or Nothing back in 2019, Pillman Jr. went on to form a tag team alongside Griff Garrison by the name of the Varsity Blonds before signing a full-time deal with the company in 2021.

It remains to be seen whether the former AEW man's appearance at the PC will lead to him ultimately being signed by Tony Khan's biggest rivals.
