In a quite astonishing appearance on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show, as originally transcribed by Fightful, former WWE Creative Writer Freddie Prinze Jr. revealed the origins - and attempted sabotage - of his time running "promo class" on the main roster.

Freddie secured the gig after convincing McMahon that he was the right intermediary to translate his wildly bizarre language to the locker room. During one class, Vince advised Wade Barrett and Sheamus that they were, in fact, dogs.

"Make me wanna watch you fight," he commanded.

Sheamus said, involuntarily, "I think I'm having an out of body experience." Much to Vince's displeasure, he didn't leave his body, and enter that of a dog's. Vince reiterated that Sheamus was a dog now. Wade Barrett, according to Prinze Jr., was "the courageous one". He barked, as aggressive dogs are wont to do. McMahon, observing, yelled "D*mn it!", flipped over a table, and stormed out. Perhaps this was a lesson in hooking the audience; perhaps he wanted the human WWE Superstars to growl at first, and then build to a bark.

Or perhaps he's just clinically insane.

Moreover, Prinze Jr. also revealed that John Cena was an overbearing influence over the process. "We did not get along. He did not like that I was there. I think he called me Ashton Kutcher the first three months that I was there."

Jesus Christ. Cena has now added a sixth to his famous arsenal with that total d*ck move. Prinze Jr. claims that Cena's presence wasn't required, because he was already a top-tier mic man. "You don't want to teach these guys or girls sh*t," he told Cena, after the legend simply sat down between two given students, derailing the process entirely. Did Cena fear his colleagues improving around him? Was he threatened?

No. It's not like Cena to humiliate his opponents in the midst of programmes. He puts them over!
