Alicia Fox thinks it'd be silly if she held any "resentment" towards WWE after enjoying a 17-year run with the promotion.

Fox told Ryback's podcast that she's "okay" with how things ended, and added: "I left with my spine". Explaining, the former Divas and 24/7 Champion said WWE "don't owe [her] anything". They stood by Alicia's side as she battled to get sober (which she did), and she's thankful for that.

The company released Fox from her contract after several years of inactivity in May 2023. Her only appearance since 2019 had been a six-minute cameo in the 2022 women's Royal Rumble match. So, Alicia was hardly surprised when management brought the hammer down.

Fox's phone call with WWE higher-ups before leaving lasted just "three minutes", but she says that's fine too. Besides, the thought of being angry or bitter about things "makes [Alicia] sick". She's ready to get on with the rest of her life, and is grateful for all of the opportunities WWE afforded her between 2006-2023.

The former WWE star does have some indy dates lined up, including a match for Booker T's Reality Of Wrestling group.
