Former WWE Star Peyton Royce Files Trademark For New Ring Name
The real-life Cassie McIntosh has put in a trademark request for her new ring name.
Having been released by WWE just over a week ago, the former Peyton Royce has moved to trademark the name “Cassie Lee”.
The real-life Cassie McIntosh has formally filed for this trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and has already changed all of her social media accounts to reflect the Cassie Lee name.
In terms of what the Cassie Lee moniker was filed for, it was put in for various forms of merchandise and for appearances and services related to professional wrestling and sports entertainment. Safe to say, this seems to be her ring name moving forward.
Having made her in-ring debut back in 2009, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion originally went by the name of KC Cassidy before signing with WWE in 2015. There, she was initially named Cassie for her first few appearances under the NXT banner, before becoming Peyton Royce in August of that year.
The 28-year-old Australian was one of ten talents released by WWE last week, with the others being Royce’s IIconics partner Billie Kay, Samoa Joe, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Kalisto, Wesley Blake, Bo Dallas, Mojo Rawley and Tucker.
