Former WWE Star Returning For Survivor Series 2020?
Undertaker's Final Farewell is heating up.
Savio Vega will return to WWE for a special appearance at Survivor Series 2020, IWA Puerto Rico has announced.
This will be part of The Undertaker’s Final Farewell and 30th anniversary celebrations. IWA Puerto Rico tweeted about the came last night, translated as follows (h/t Wrestling Inc.):-
"Kwang / Savio Vega will be back in WWE, this time to be present during the retirement of his great friend and brother The Undertaker, who culminates a successful career exactly 30 years after his first appearance at Survivor Series 1990.”
This will be Vega’s first WWE appearance since leaving the promotion back in September 1999, having originally debuted as Kwang in January 1994. An eventful run brought allegiances with Razor Ramon, Los Boricuas, the Nation of Domination, and feuds with the likes of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Bradshaw, and more. Vega’s Undertaker connection comes from their backstage friendship, as the two were part of the infamous Bone Street Krew backstage collective, joined by the likes of Yokozuna.
There’s currently no word on other returnees for the 22 November event, though ‘Taker’s Final Farewell will almost certainly be an extravagant affair at Survivor Series, given his tenure and importance to WWE.
