Now going by 2.0 (having competed as 3.0 on the indies before joining WWE), Matt Lee and Jeff Parker appeared in a short-but-popping promo uploaded to AEW's Twitter feed last night.

Featuring alongside them was current indie standout Daniel Garcia, their partner for Dynamite. The trio called out "the three baddest dudes on the roster", challenging the all-star group of Eddie Kingston, Jon Moxley, and Darby Allin for Homecoming:-

Whether or not Lee, Parker, and Garcia have signed with AEW is unclear, but Daniel keeps a busy independent schedule and has worked several Dark tapings in the past. The 22-year-old is widely considered a can't-miss prospect on the unsigned scene and has drawn considerable acclaim for matches with the likes of Kevin Ku and JD Drake in 2021.

2.0, meanwhile, were released as part of WWE's widespread NXT and 205 Live cuts on 25 June, despite being one of the company's more entertaining undercard acts. That they are debuting for AEW so soon after departing means they must have been beholden to a 30-day non-compete clause rather than 90.
