FTR Drops MAJOR Hint On When They Plan To Challenge For AEW Tag Team Titles
Will FTR finally challenge for the AEW Tag Team Championship after months of waiting?
In all the chaos that has engulfed All Elite Wrestling the past year, one of the few constants in the company has been FTR’s perpetual position as the number one contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championship - a ranking the duo has held since 6 April 2022!
After months of being in this prime spot but somewhat bafflingly not getting a shot at the tag division's top prize, it looks as if that wait may possibly be about to come to an end.
Taking to Twitter recently, Dash Wheeler made FTR's intentions clear to challenge the winner of the upcoming rematch between current AEW Tag Champs Swerve In Our Glory and The Acclaimed at Dynamite Grand Slam later this month.
The Acclaimed absolutely deserve a rematch.
But maybe, just maybe… dibs on winner?

The Acclaimed previously challenged for the belts at AEW All Out on 4 September 2022, losing to Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland despite putting up a valiant effort.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are the current ROH Tag Team Champions, AAA World Tag Team Champions and IWGP Tag Team Champions. Their sole reign as AEW Tag Team Champions took place in 2020, lasting only 63 days.
Whoever comes away from Grand Slam with the gold certainly has their work cut out for them should Tony Khan indeed decide to give FTR their long overdue shot at the company's Tag Team Titles.
