As soon as Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance began to reach more eyes when NWA Powerrr launched in October 2019, many wrestling fans began to discuss how much of a great fit the then-Revival would be for the NWA.

Of course, the Revival would depart WWE in April of last year and become FTR, and the duo's brief spell of free agency again had people pondering a move to the NWA as and when Corgan's promotion returned from its pandemic-induced hiatus. And now, it looks as if we could get to see Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood finally compete in an NWA ring.

After Harwood took to Twitter to share a Mid-Atlantic clip featuring an NWA Tag Team Championship bout between the Rock 'n' Roll Express and Ivan Koloff & Krusher Kruschev, the NWA Twitter account responded and offered FTR an opportunity to challenge for those very same titles.

Clearly eager to take up this offer, Dax responded with "Let's F****** Go."

The door is clearly very much open for AEW and NWA to work together, as shown by the use of Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb and the NWA Women's Championship on AEW programming - while the NWA hasn't been afraid to namedrop AEW on its own weekly programming.

At present, the NWA Tag Team Championships are held by the oft-strained pairing of Aron Stevens (fka Damien Sandow) and Kratos, with that tandem having defeated James Storm and Eli Drake for the titles last November.
