Crowd favourite Fuego Del Sol officially became All Elite during last night's debut AEW Rampage episode.

The show saw current TNT Champion Miro defend his belt against the aforementioned masked sensation. But on top of coming away with the gold should he be victorious, an additional stipulation meant that the challenger would be offered an AEW contract with a win, too.

Yet, instead of delivering a rousing underdog victory on the first Friday Night Rampage, God's Favourite Champion pulverised the plucky star to retain his prestigious strap. All was not lost, though.

As the dust settled on a disappointing evening for Fuego, AEW President Tony Khan and Sammy Guevara suddenly made their way into the arena. With a contract in hand, Del Sol's best bud revealed that "sometimes there's victory in defeat". Guevara then confessed that he'd more than proved he was All Elite, offering the star a contract before the pals hugged it out in front of a celebratory crowd.

It's evident from how emotional The Spanish God was when delivering this heart-warming news just how much this deal means to his mate, so here's hoping the talented high-flier can continue to build on his obvious momentum going forward.
