With Tony Khan having today announced a new expanded TV agreement with WarnerMedia for AEW, there’s now somewhat of an update on all of this.

No set figures have been revealed as of yet, but PWInsider is reporting that All Elite Wrestling will be receiving an “eight-figure payday” from WarnerMedia as part of this new arrangement. Of course, eight figures puts said payday anywhere between $10 million and just shy of $100 million.

In case you missed it, Khan earlier detailed how a new one-hour weekly show – AEW Rampage – will premiere on Friday 13 August at 10pm ET, with both Dynamite and Rampage moving from TNT to TBS in 2022. Additionally, next year will see TNT air four AEW supercard specials.

All of this is viewed as a way to improve AEW’s reach, with this agreement meaning AEW programming will air on two different networks in TNT and TBS – not to mention AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation being housed on YouTube each and every week.

Safe to say, things are looking increasingly positive for AEW right now as the attention begins to switch to 2022 and beyond.
