Jeff Jarretts Global Force Wrestling continues to generate headlines in the wrestling world, but not all news is good news. Reports are now coming in that things are moving much slower than anticipated for the upstart company. While things continue to chug along, its not at a pace that company officials would like. Just yesterday, GFW announced further co-promotional deals, this time with a wealth of companies in Australia and New Zealand. These new promotions have been added to a long list of partners that includes various European promotions, AAA in Mexico, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. While all of these agreements are great steps forward for the new global brand, there has not been much news from the company beyond the partnerships. Reportedly, negotiations for a future television deal and home are ongoing. However, the company and its officials were hoping to have landed a contract by this time already. This is said to be where much of the frustration and disappointment is stemming from. While negotiations continue, Jarrett has taken it upon himself to begin scouting potential locations for television tapings. Supposedly, the GFW Co-Founder -- along with his wife, Karen Jarrett -- has been looking at various buildings in the New York City, Los Angeles, and even Dallas areas. The hope is to begin taping television sometime in September, although that may be a bit soon with new television deal in place and no announced roster. Jarrett and his Global Force promotion could, however, hold a television taping anyway. Potentially, they could tape a show or two and use them as a pilot for a possible series. Furthermore, the company could use the footage for promotional and pitch purposes. Having a fully realized product thats been self-produced would be a great help in finding a home for GFW on television. As they always say in the film and television industry, show dont tell. While the development and launch of Global Force Wrestling has been slower than anticipated, expect some big news updates in the near future. Its being said that Jeff Jarrett and GFWs relationship with New Japan will be elaborated on and explained in further detail very soon. Furthermore, details about Scott DAmores involvement with the company should be forthcoming. In short, GFW continues to make waves in the wrestling world, despite their slow -- but steady -- beginnings. Will Global Force Wrestling be able to land a worthwhile television deal soon?
