Goldberg Announced For Monday's WWE Raw
WWE must be hoping that big Bill Goldberg boosts the ratings on Monday's Raw.
Bill Goldberg will return to WWE television this coming Monday night to discuss the fact that Bobby Lashley turned down his WWE Title challenge for SummerSlam.
WWE announced during SmackDown that the legend will be live and in living colour on Raw - expect this to follow in the footsteps of the Universal Title situation between Roman Reigns and John Cena by making Lashley vs. Goldberg official.
It'd be a surprise if that wasn't the plan, because WWE only has three more episodes (including Monday) of Raw before getting to the next pay-per-view on 21 August. So, in summary, this is Goldberg's time to either convince or force Bobby to meet him one-on-one at SummerSlam.
It's inevitable.
WWE may even go so far as to start promoting the match as a 'Battle Of The Spears'. Both men use that as a signature/finishing move, and it's been emphasised even more on Bob's side since plans for Goldberg vs. Lashley were drawn up.
