At least on a personal level, it sounds like Bill Goldberg isn't a Donald Trump guy.

The former WWE and WCW Champion gave this much away during a recent appearance on The Roman Atwood Podcast. Goldberg spoke of his time as a contestant on the Trump-helmed Celebrity Apprentice, on which he featured alongside the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Darryl Strawbery, and Maria Kanellis, calling this "one of the most miserable experiences."

Goldberg claimed that he was trying to get fired from The Celebrity Apprentice from the moment he arrived. He called Trump a "piece of work" with "no social skills," who appeared "uncomfortable" interacting with other human begins.

Said Bill (h/t Wrestling Inc.):-

"Do you know that I tried to get fired from The Apprentice from the first day I arrived? It was one of the most miserable experiences of mine... He was a piece of work, man. I knew that dude wasn't gonna be the most popular guy in the world when I figured out that he really didn't have any social skills. Like, zero ... You'd go up and you shake his hand, and he has no social skills. He doesn't know how to interact with a person one-on-one without putting a front up. He was uncomfortable."

A WWE Hall-of-Famer following his 2013 induction, Trump has appeared for WWE in the build to and at WrestleMania 23 itself, where his client for the night, Bobby Lashley, clashed with a Vince McMahon-managed Umaga in the Battle of the Billionaires. In January 2017, Linda McMahon's nomination to be appointed Administrator of the Small Business Administration was approved following Trump's election as President of the United States of America.

Linda stood down from this role in March 2019.
