Goldberg is set to wrestle his first match in 12 years this Sunday. His scheduled contest with Brock Lesnar will likely go down as the last of his career, and while things looked to have gone without a hitch at surface level, the program has already taken a toll on Goldberg's ageing body.

Speaking to NBC Sports earlier this week, Goldberg revealed that he "tweaked his shoulder" during Monday's in-ring segment with Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, and a stack of security guards:-

"My body feels horrible. I tweaked my shoulder last night (on Raw), but that doesn't mean in five days that I'm not going to come out kicking ass and taking names like I always do."

Goldberg also reiterated that Survivor Series will be fans' final opportunity to see him compete in the squared circle, and that the injury is a surefire sign that his body is telling him to "take it easy." The 49-year-old also slipped awkwardly during a confrontation with Rusev two weeks ago, but things were far more physical this week.

The segment in-question saw Goldberg throw multiple security guards around, and the news is particularly concerning when considering his opponent. Lesnar is rightly regarded as one of the stiffest workers in the company, and handed Randy Orton a heavy concussion in their SummerSlam match. Whatever the outcome on Sunday, Goldberg's final match will likely come at a heavy physical cost.
