Few fans expected Goldberg and Brock Lesnar to wrestle for any great length of time at WWE Survivor Series last night, but nobody could've predicted the nature of Goldberg's stunning victory. The former WCW Champion destroyed the once-unstoppable Beast Incarnate in under two minutes, and it sounds like he's here to stay.

Pro Wrestling Sheet are reporting that Goldberg has agreed a deal to appear on further WWE shows, with the 2017 Royal Rumble mentioned specifically. Goldberg's comeback was originally intended as a one-match deal, but the angle went over so well that both sides decided they wanted to keep going. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it's expected that Goldberg and Lesnar will meet again at the Rumble.

Last night was Brock's first clean singles loss since submitting to The Undertaker at SummerSlam 2015, and one of the most shocking defeats of his career. A flurry of late bets saw the odds swing in Goldberg's favour just before the show started, and they were vindicated.

Wrestling for the first time in over 12 years, Goldberg put the Beast away with two Spears and a Jackhammer, and though he made heavy suggestions that this would be his last match throughout the build-up, Goldberg's war with Lesnar looks set to continue.
