Goldust Wants To Face Cody Rhodes At Wrestlemania 28 In A Miami Street Fight
WWE veteran wrestler Goldust (Dustin Runnels) is continuing to campaign for a match against his brother Cody Rhodes at next year's Wrestlemania 28. Previously we had heard about his Twitter campaign for an Intercontinental Title vs. Career Match to be booked as a culmination of a feud that would probably see him hang up his boots as an active wrestler. Latest reports from Lordsofpain.net say Goldust wants the match to be contest as a Miami Street Fight. This of course brings up memories of perhaps Goldusts' most famous match when he took on Rowdy Roddy Piper at Wrestlemania 12 in a 'Hollywood Backlot Brawl' which went from Hollywood all the way to the ring! However WWE officials have said to be hesitant all along about the idea to stage the match at Wrestlemania but would be more than happy to have the feud at another pay-per-view event. The idea is probably that they want Cody Rhodes to be elevated next year and have already started something of a push for him in recent weeks and he is expected to come out the victor in his feud with Booker T, ironically a former WWE Tag Team partner with Goldust.
