Ups...

10. The Aesthetic

Starz

Simply put, Heels looks absolutely stunning.

For those who loved to see wrestling out of dusty, dingy, beer-stained venues back in the day, this Starz show captures that environment, that feel, that overall aesthetic brilliantly.

The venue that houses the Duffy Wrestling League is one that wrestling fans have seen time and time again over the decades, with it having plenty in common with how the old World Class Championship Wrestling shows used to look and feel.

You can almost smell the arena, especially at moments when the villains of the DWL are pelted with trash, and the camera stunningly captures each and every emotion of both the watching audience and the wrestlers involved.

It's not just the venue that looks great here, mind, for just the general, broader cinematography is extremely well done, with some nice aerial tracking shots and the colour palette at play adding to the viewing experience. You really feel like this is a traditional wrestling promotion of old, and that the DWL really is a key part of the larger Duffy community.
