AEW caused a stir online by penning some crossover content to promote the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie on this past Wednesday's episode of Dynamite; someone dressed as Leatherface strolled out wielding a chainsaw, but...who was it?

He's pictured above, but only the most hardcore of hardcore All Elite fans will know his face. That's Dean Alexander, who has worked "at least three dozen dates" for the company since 2021. Fightful Select found out that Dean donned the mask for a guest spot during Jeff Jarrett vs. Jeff Hardy on this week's flagship.

Alexander made his All Elite debut back during a round of Dark tapings in March 2021.

News has since circulated that AEW made $100,000 from the sponsorship bit. Tony Khan then confirmed that every single penny will be donated to food banks set up to aid those affected by the Maui wildfires in Hawaii.

That lovely gesture hasn't stopped the promotion from getting it in the neck from some fans on social media though. Many were baffled to see a bogus Leatherface romp out with a chainsaw on the program.

A gig's a gig as far as Alexander is concerned.
